HYDRA PEN H6
More control.
Fewer interruptions.
Keep serum application and device settings together in one handheld design. The Hydra Pen H6 combines a built-in serum reservoir, button-controlled needle length and a clear colour display, so there is less to juggle during a session.
Your original H6 kit, plus 10 additional cartridges in your chosen type.

SERUM APPLICATION, SIMPLIFIED
Less stop-and-start. More control over the flow.
The integrated 3 ml reservoir dispenses serum through the cartridge assembly. Choose from three output levels, or turn dispensing off, using the dedicated serum button. This reduces the need to pause simply to reapply serum by hand.
Adjustable flow does not make every serum suitable for microneedling. Confirm formulation suitability with a qualified practitioner before use.

EASIER TO CHECK. EASIER TO ADJUST.
See your settings without breaking your focus.
Check speed, needle length, serum output and battery status on the colour display. Dedicated controls let you change settings without rotating a manual depth dial.
Six speed levels and digital needle-length settings from 0 to 2.0 mm give your practitioner control over device setup. With nano cartridges, the screen displays Nano instead of a needle-length setting.
The available range is a device specification, not a recommended treatment depth. Your practitioner should determine suitable settings.
OPTIONAL RED & BLUE LED
Choose whether to use the light.
Built-in red and blue LED modes can be selected separately, or left off. You can use the H6 without switching on the LED function.
START WITH YOUR SKIN CONCERN
What is microneedling commonly used for?
Professional microneedling is used to improve the appearance of certain scars, fine lines and uneven texture. Start with the concern you want assessed, then choose the appropriate procedure and cartridge.
Depressed scars left after acne clears are a common reason to discuss professional microneedling. Active pimples need a different approach.
Fine lines, rough texture and visible pores are common concerns addressed in professional skin-refinement plans.
Flat post-acne marks differ from indented scars. Identify the cause of discolouration before selecting a procedure.
Some healed stretch marks and scars may be assessed for microneedling. Raised or keloid scars require a different assessment.
Compare 18-pin for a general facial plan, and 36/42-pin for larger-area or body-texture plans. The H6 cartridge guide below gives specific selection examples; it does not assign a treatment depth.
Nano Round and Nano Square are separate cartridge options. They are not substitutes for a professional scar-treatment procedure.
Do not choose a needle cartridge to treat inflamed acne. Wait for active inflammation or infection to resolve and seek acne advice first.
These are general uses of professional microneedling, not a guarantee of results from the H6. Cartridge design, settings, technique and individual skin condition all matter.

CHOOSE BY AREA & SKINCARE GOAL
A practical reference for your H6 cartridges.
Start with the area and type of care you are planning, then compare these H6-specific options. This guide helps you choose the extra pack of 10; it does not prescribe treatment settings.
| H6 option | Where to start | Typical goals to discuss |
|---|---|---|
| 18-pinGeneral facial care | A starting point to compare for a full-face microneedling plan, rather than choosing a higher count by default. | Fine lines, uneven texture, visible pores, uneven-looking tone and mild healed scarring. The H6-specific listing positions 18-pin for full-face care. |
| 36-pinLarger areas & scalp plans | Consider for a larger-area plan; H6-specific descriptions also list professional scalp routines. | Body texture, healed body scars and stretch-mark appearance. Scalp use needs assessment of the hair-loss concern; the cartridge alone is not a hair-regrowth treatment. |
| 42-pinLarger face & body areas | Another option to compare for wider areas, such as a planned body-texture or stretch-mark procedure. | Body texture, healed scars and stretch-mark appearance. Its listed uses overlap with 36-pin: 42-pin is not automatically deeper, stronger or more effective. |
| Nano RoundRound surface-care tip | Choose the nano category for surface-focused skincare and a round tip when that shape is specified in your routine. | Hydration-focused cosmetic care and a fresher, more radiant-looking finish. Not a replacement for a skin-puncturing procedure for indented scars. |
| Nano SquareSquare surface-care tip | An alternative nano-tip shape for the same surface-skincare category; choose according to the handling and contact shape your practitioner prefers. | Similar surface-care and glow goals to Nano Round. The available H6 descriptions do not establish that Square delivers a different or better skin outcome. |
Quick comparison: general facial microneedling → compare 18-pin; larger body areas → compare 36- and 42-pin; surface skincare and glow → Nano Round or Nano Square.
How the H6 responds: the numbered 18-, 36- and 42-pin cartridges use its adjustable needle-length settings. With Nano Round or Nano Square fitted, the display shows Nano instead. The serum-flow setting is separate: a higher flow does not make an unsuitable serum appropriate for the procedure.
These are selection references from H6-specific product descriptions, not comparative clinical results. Pin count alone does not determine depth, discomfort or improvement. Avoid active acne, use a new cartridge per session, and have suitable settings and formulations specified for your procedure.
Match the device: use H6 cartridges, not H3/H5 or M9 cartridges. Shop H6 replacement cartridges.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Find what you need before you choose.
Authenticity & official verification
Is the H6 sold by elleinbeauty genuine?
Yes. We sell genuine Hydra Pen H6 devices. You can check the packaging’s security code at drpen.com/verify after delivery.
How do I verify my product?
Reveal the code under the security-label coating, visit drpen.com/verify and submit the authentication number. Read the displayed result before use.
Can I verify it using my phone?
Yes. Open the official verification page on your phone, or use the label’s supported QR process. Confirm the address is drpen.com before entering your code.
Can the same code be checked repeatedly?
The official guide currently allows three successful checks, with a 24-hour interval between them. Follow the current rules and messages on the official website.
What if the code is invalid or the result is unexpected?
Check your entry and website address. Keep the packaging, label, result screenshot and order details, then contact us before use. Do not post your full code publicly.
Is the logo or box appearance enough to verify authenticity?
No. Use the official security-code system; packaging appearance alone is not sufficient.
Your kit & order
What is included in my H6 bundle?
The original H6 device kit and standard accessories, plus 10 additional H6 cartridges in the type you select. See the kit contents above.
Are the 10 extra cartridges a mixed assortment?
No. All 10 additional cartridges are the selected type. The selected option refers to the additional pack supplied with your H6 kit.
Is serum included?
No. Arrange a formulation suitable for your intended procedure separately. A full reservoir shown in an illustration does not mean serum is supplied.
Which options should I check before ordering?
Check the colour, plug and extra cartridge type shown in your selection. The cartridge option refers to the additional pack of 10.
Can I buy replacement cartridges later?
Yes. View H6 replacement cartridges. Check the model and pack quantity before ordering.
Skin concerns & cartridge choice
Can microneedling help with acne scars?
Professional microneedling is one option used for certain depressed acne scars after acne is controlled. Flat dark marks and raised scars are different concerns and may require different treatment plans.
Can I use it on active acne?
Do not use it over active, inflamed or infected acne, open wounds or irritated skin. Address the active skin problem before considering a needling session.
Which pin count should I choose for scars, pores or fine lines?
For a general facial plan covering fine lines, visible pores, texture or mild healed scarring, compare 18-pin first. H6-specific descriptions position 36- and 42-pin for larger areas, body texture, healed scars and stretch-mark appearance; their uses overlap. See the selection reference above.
Are 42 pins better than 18 or 36?
Not automatically. The H6 listings position 18-pin for general facial care and 36/42-pin for larger-area plans. Compare area and purpose rather than treating 42-pin as an upgrade. Depth, technique and skin condition remain separate decisions.
How are Nano Round and Nano Square different?
Both are surface-skincare options for hydration-focused care and a radiant-looking finish. Round and Square describe the contact-tip shape; the available H6 sources do not establish different skin outcomes for the two. The H6 displays Nano with either fitted, without the numbered-cartridge depth settings.
Will H3, H5 or other Dr. Pen cartridges fit?
Use cartridges specifically designed for H6. H3/H5 cartridges are not interchangeable with H6 cartridges. Check compatibility rather than relying on the brand name or appearance.
Is H6 an RF or EMS device?
The H6 functions described here are microneedling, serum dispensing and optional red/blue LED. RF and EMS are different technologies and are not H6 features in this listing.
Can I use it for hair loss?
Microneedling has been studied as an adjunct in some hair-loss treatment plans. This does not establish H6 as a standalone hair-regrowth treatment. Have the cause of hair loss assessed before considering scalp use.
Setup, serum & controls
What serum can I put in the reservoir?
Use only a formulation confirmed suitable for the intended procedure and compatible with the device instructions. Flowing through the cartridge does not by itself make a serum suitable for punctured skin.
Can I add oils, acids, retinol or medication?
Do not add these, DIY mixtures or injectables unless specifically directed by an appropriately qualified clinician and permitted by the applicable product instructions. Do not infer suitability from texture alone.
How much does the reservoir hold?
The stated capacity is 3 ml. This is its capacity, not a required dose or a guarantee that one fill will complete a treatment. Follow the reservoir markings and supplied instructions.
How do I control serum dispensing?
Use the serum button to choose one of three output levels or turn dispensing off. Start by checking that the cartridge is correctly assembled and that the settings match the intended setup.
What if serum is not dispensing or appears to leak?
Stop the session. With the device off, check the reservoir level, closure, cartridge fit and instructions. Do not force a blocked cartridge or continue with a leaking assembly. Contact us if the issue persists.
What does the colour screen show?
Speed, needle length or Nano mode, serum-output information and battery status. Dedicated buttons control speed, needle length, serum and LED selection.
Do I have to switch on the LED?
No. Select red, blue or LED off. Red is listed at 630 nm and blue at 470 nm. The LED function can remain off while using the device.
Can I operate the pen while it is charging?
Use it disconnected from charging power, as directed by the H6 manual reviewed for this listing. Follow the instructions supplied with your unit for charging.
Does the foldable stand charge the pen wirelessly?
It is described here as a handpiece stand. Do not assume it is a wireless charging dock; follow the supplied charging instructions.
Sessions, expectations & aftercare
What depth, speed and frequency should I use?
These depend on the procedure, cartridge, treatment area and individual suitability. The 0–2.0 mm range and six speeds are device capabilities, not a universal treatment schedule. Have a trained practitioner set your plan.
Will one session remove scars or wrinkles?
No result is guaranteed. Improvements from professional microneedling can be gradual, and more than one session may be needed. Do not judge success by bleeding, redness or using a deeper setting.
Is treatment painless, and will I need recovery time?
Microneedling can cause discomfort, redness, swelling, peeling or other effects. Recovery varies with treatment and skin response; do not plan around a promise of no downtime.
Can I apply makeup or restart active skincare immediately?
Follow the aftercare plan for your procedure. Ask when to resume makeup, retinoids, exfoliating acids and other active products; do not restart them simply because the skin looks normal.
What if I have sensitive skin, a skin condition or take medication?
Tell your clinician about skin conditions, healing problems, a history of raised scars, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding before use. The user manual also contains contraindications.
What should I do if my skin reacts badly?
Stop using the device. Seek medical advice for an unexpected, persistent or worsening reaction, particularly signs of infection. Do not repeat treatment to try to correct the reaction.
Hygiene, documentation & support
Can I reuse or share a cartridge?
No. Use a new cartridge for each session, even for the same person. Do not share it, or reuse it after washing or disinfection.
How should I check a cartridge before use?
Check the correct model, packaging integrity and any expiry information on the pack. Do not use a damaged cartridge, bent needles or compromised packaging. Follow its preparation instructions.
How do I clean the pen and dispose of cartridges?
Turn off and disconnect the pen before wiping its exterior as directed in the manual. Do not rinse or immerse it. Dispose of used cartridges safely under local sharps-disposal requirements.
What does the EMC document cover?
Document PTC25062613901E-EM01, dated 4 July 2025, includes H6 in its model list. It concerns electromagnetic compatibility, not treatment efficacy.
What if my item is missing, damaged or not working?
Contact service@elleinbeauty.com with your order number, the selected variant and photos or a short video showing the issue. Stop using a damaged or malfunctioning device.
Where can I check warranty, returns and shipping terms?
Review our returns policy and shipping policy. For warranty coverage and claim steps, contact us before purchasing.
Make an informed choice.
Microneedling punctures the skin and requires appropriate training and hygiene. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about suitability, settings and aftercare. Avoid use on active acne, open wounds, infected or irritated skin. Read the supplied instructions and contraindications before use. Use the device disconnected from charging power.
