The numbered-option references reflect H5-specific cartridge descriptions within the shared H3/H5 replacement range. These are product selection references, not comparative clinical findings. Pin count alone does not establish depth, comfort or results.
Acne, marks or indented scars?
Do not needle active acne. Flat red or brown post-breakout marks need a different assessment from healed indented scars. No cartridge is a universal acne or scar treatment.
Nano is a separate category.
Nano Round and Nano Square have different surface patterns and overlapping skincare goals. Neither shape is established here as better for pigmentation or scars.

Serum chamber and flow
Keep application together.
The clear cartridge body holds up to 3 mL. Its regulating ring provides three liquid-output settings, allowing flow to be matched to a suitable formulation’s consistency according to the device instructions.
Liquid flow and needle depth are separate settings. More flow is not a stronger procedure, and the reservoir does not make an everyday serum suitable for microneedling.
Confirm formulation suitability before filling. The reservoir is not for injecting products; 3 mL describes its capacity, not a recommended dose.

Inspect and prepare
Check the correct type and intact packaging. With the pen off, open a fresh cartridge and prepare the reservoir according to your exact model’s instructions. Avoid touching the tip.
Fit securely
Set the flow ring as directed, remove the protective cap, fit the cartridge and secure the retaining ring. Do not force a mismatched or loose assembly.
Replace after use
Switch the device off before removal. Do not reuse or share cartridges, including Nano types. Dispose of used needle cartridges through an appropriate sharps route.

Fit & compatibility
Which devices are these cartridges for?
These replacements are listed for Hydra Pen H3 and Hydra Pen H5. Check the model printed on your device before ordering; a similar-looking pen or a shared brand name does not establish compatibility.
Can I use them with H6, H2, M8, M9 or another Dr. Pen?
This listing supports H3/H5 only. Do not order this pack for H6 or another model; use the cartridge specified for that device. If your exact model is unclear, contact us before opening a cartridge.
Will both H3 and H5 accept the same selected type?
The H3/H5 replacement range is sold for both models in the five listed configurations. Installation and device controls still follow your own H3 or H5 manual.
What if the cartridge does not fit securely?
Keep the pen switched off. Confirm the cartridge label and device model, then check alignment and the retaining ring against the manual. Do not force the cartridge, modify the connector or run the pen with a loose fit. Contact us with photos.
Choosing a type
Where should I start: 12, 24 or 36 pins?
Compare 12-pin for focused facial work, 24-pin for a versatile face/body plan, and 36-pin for larger-area body-texture or stretch-mark plans. These are model-specific selection references, not rules for treatment depth or results. Your practitioner should match the option to the area and procedure.
Does a higher pin count mean deeper or stronger treatment?
No. Pin count describes the cartridge configuration. It does not by itself determine depth, discomfort or effectiveness, and 36-pin is not an automatic upgrade from 12- or 24-pin.
How are Nano Round and Nano Square different from numbered needles?
Nano options are surface-care tips rather than the numbered microneedling arrays. Their cosmetic role is surface skincare, including hydration and glow. They are not substitutes for a professionally assessed microneedling plan for indented scars.
Is Nano Square better than Nano Round?
The patterns differ. We have not established that either shape gives better results or treats a different skin concern. Their broad skincare goals overlap.
Which option should I consider for acne marks or scars?
Active inflamed acne, flat marks left after a breakout and indented scars are different concerns. Do not needle active acne. A practitioner may compare 12-pin for a focused procedure on healed indented facial scars; flat red or brown marks need a separate assessment. No pin count guarantees scar removal or pigment improvement.
Can these cartridges treat active acne?
Do not use them over active acne, infected or broken skin. Have the acne assessed and controlled before considering a procedure for residual marks or scars.
Can I use them for scalp or hair concerns?
Some H5 cartridge descriptions list scalp use for 24- and 36-pin options, but a sales listing is not proof of hair regrowth. Have the cause of hair loss and suitability of the device and procedure assessed before buying for scalp use.
What depth, speed and schedule should I use?
There is no single setting or schedule suitable for everyone. Follow the manual supplied with your exact device and a qualified practitioner’s plan. Nano and numbered microneedling cartridges should not be treated as interchangeable procedures.

Select 20pcs, 50pcs or 100pcs. These numbers refer to individual replacement cartridges, not boxes or needles within one head. Check both the type and pack size in your order summary.
Is this a mixed assortment?
The listed pack is one selected type throughout. For example, 24pin / 50pcs means 50 cartridges of the 24-pin type. Mixed assortments are not offered by the current options.
Does the pack include a Hydra Pen or serum?
No. This listing is for replacement cartridges only. The H3/H5 device and serum are purchased separately.
Does the quantity selector change the pack size?
The Pack option sets the cartridges per pack. The quantity selector sets how many of those packs you order: quantity 2 of 20pcs means 40 cartridges in total.
Are the product photos a mixed-pack contents photo?
No. The range image shows the five available configurations to help you compare. Your order contains the single type and quantity you select. Packaging appearance may vary; the range image is not a photo of a complete shipping pack.
Setup & serum
What is the clear chamber for?
It is the integrated 3 mL serum reservoir. The H3/H5 cartridge assembly supports three liquid-output settings. Reservoir capacity is not a prescribed dose or a guarantee that one fill suits every procedure.
How do I install a new cartridge?
Switch the device off. Open a new, intact pack without touching the contact tip. Assemble and fill the cartridge as directed, adjust the flow ring, remove the protective cap, then fit the cartridge and secure the retaining ring according to your exact device manual. Confirm the assembly is secure before use.
Can I use any hyaluronic acid or everyday serum?
No. A familiar skincare ingredient does not make a formulation suitable for microneedling. Confirm the full formulation, intended use, hygiene requirements and flow suitability with your practitioner and the device instructions. Do not use the reservoir to inject products.
How do I choose the liquid-output level?
The H3 manual describes choosing the flow setting according to the approved formulation’s consistency. Follow your exact device instructions; more flow is not a stronger treatment and does not make an unsuitable product appropriate.
What if serum does not flow or the cartridge leaks?
Stop and switch the device off. Check the assembly, flow setting and formulation against the manual. Do not keep using a leaking, blocked, damaged or loose cartridge, and do not force fluid through it. Replace the cartridge where necessary and contact us if the issue continues.
Can I keep a filled cartridge for the next session?
No. Prepare it for the current session only. Do not keep leftover serum in a used cartridge, return it to its original container or save the cartridge for later reuse.
Hygiene & storage
Can I reuse or share a cartridge?
No. Use a new cartridge for each session and each person, including Nano types. Washing, alcohol soaking or another cleaning step does not make a used cartridge reusable.
What should I check before opening?
Check that the individual packaging is sealed, dry and undamaged, and that the type matches your order. Read any batch, expiry and preparation information on the pack. Do not use an expired item or one with an open, torn or compromised seal.
Does alcohol soaking sterilize a cartridge?
Do not regard an alcohol soak as validated sterilization or a way to restore a used or compromised cartridge. Follow the current preparation instructions supplied for your exact cartridge and device. If the leaflet and packaging disagree, pause and contact us before use.
What if the tip is damaged or touches an unclean surface?
Do not use it. Keep fingers away from the contact tip. Replace a damaged or contaminated cartridge; do not try to straighten needles or repair the assembly.
How should I store unopened cartridges?
Keep them in their sealed packaging in a clean, dry place, protected from heat, direct sunlight and moisture. Follow any storage conditions and expiry date printed on the pack. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
How should I dispose of used cartridges?
Remove the cartridge with the device off and avoid touching the tip. Place used needle cartridges in an appropriate puncture-resistant sharps container and follow local disposal requirements. Do not leave exposed tips in loose household waste or recycling.

Should my cartridges have their own verification code?
These replacement cartridges do not come with an individual website verification-code process. The pen’s verification process should not be expected on this consumable; the absence of an individual cartridge code does not itself indicate a counterfeit.
What if my order is incorrect, incomplete or arrives damaged?
Keep affected items unopened and contact elleinbeauty through our contact page. Include your order number, selected type and pack size, the quantity received, and clear photos of the packaging and affected items. Do not use a cartridge with compromised packaging.
Can I return an opened pack?
